Ever curious about the myriad of ways in which we move in relationship to our environments and each other, I make dances and art works in order to materialize my questions and discoveries. As a young dancer, student and athlete, I saw dance vocabulary in everything. Dynamism everywhere. Nothing static. It took some years to find strategies in order to create a discipline that allowed for this chaotic collage to exist while extracting the essential materials for art making. Thus, I live in a creative process that both encompasses the constant input I experience and my love of, desire for nothingness/emptiness.

Perpetually exploring and questioning our inside and outside relationship with ourselves and each other; from developmental patterns to abstract and conceptual musings and constructions. Always a dancer/mover I perceive the world dynamically and spatially; intersecting and dimensional puzzles of minds-bodies-individuals-groups-psychologies-cultures- and mostly unknowns. I work in multiple mediums including words, movements, images, nature, time, spontaneity, mess, and detail.
